For many years John's inventive strategies, creations and designs have been sought after by some of the most recognized names in Business today. Organizations like: Qualcomm, Proflowers.com, LIAI.org, Fujitsu, Iomega/EMC2, AJGolfSchool and NCR Corporation. Founded in 1986, Benelli Design has always been at the forefront of cutting edge, artistic and practical design communications that have won many creative awards world wide. John has extensive experience managing projects from inception to completion or in other words, from the moment the idea is conceived to the moment it is launched.

John started his career at Knoth & Meads Advertising where he produced ad campaigns, print collateral and tradeshow graphics. In 1981, John continued his tenure as a designer at Design Group West in Del Mar, California doing noteworthy and well-respected designs and illustrations, including the original North County Fair three flags brand identity for EW Hahn Inc., ISSCO first 3 annual reports, Jack In The Box Franchise materials, San Diego Opera promotional brochures and CRM product catalogs. In 1986 John went out on his own and founded Benelli Design. Branding products and services for B2B and B to C Clients such as Brennan-Katkov Development, Burnham Pacific, Arco Seed Company, American Biosearch, Esposito Development and Custom Craft Marble.

During the 1990s he developed a leading edge creative department for The Townsend Agency, a full-service PR, advertising and marketing firm that specialized in hi-tech. Building on his experience, John headed the department and successfully gained market share and recognition for clients such as Fujitsu, Qualcomm, TriTeal Corp., Keylime Software, Stellcom, MediaShare, CRYDOM, by working collaboratively with the public relations and account management teams, making it a true full-service firm.

Once the Millenium showed up, John continued to help many satisfied repeat clients solve their marketing challenges. Venturing into unchartered waters, he began designing for the digital world including eCommerce web sites as part of his repertoire. With his long history of expertise and penchant for keeping up with the times, John has continued to embraced the digital world creating cross platform solutions.

More recently, he has specialized in eCommerce solutions for his passion Golf, by revitalizing the AJ Golf School brand and then developing instructional golf videos and and co-producing a direct marketing infomercial for Wally Armstrong Golf.
